On Saturday night we said good-bye to all of our hosts at a farewell party organized by the Rotary Club of Jubilee Hills. It was a bittersweet moment. On the one hand, I looked forward to returning home, but on the other hand, I was saddened to be leaving my friends and host families. The past month was simply an unbelievable experience, with memories that will last a lifetime. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to explore India courtesy of Rotary, and many thanks to everyone who made it possible. In closing, I’m reminded of the words of Garrison Keillor, a famous Minnesotan: “Be well, do good work, and keep in touch!”
